It was 1973 when the first residents had moved into Emmanuel Home and the community came together to officially open the place they and many others after them would call “home”. This month the Emmanuel Home community is celebrating 45 years of God’s faithfulness to each resident and their families who have lived at Emmanuel Home. Residents joined together and enjoyed tea and cake and perused several precious photo albums created by Mary Van Ryk and other staff members over the years.
